Went up to Canada to see the Falls, was a really great time. Canada had a lot to offer, the people were as nice as you hear about. No one apologized, and that is probably because they had nothing to apologize for.
Toronto is kind of a mess. Even for me, a city person, it was just a bit too much. Otherwise, what a great time!
Got to take a work trip out to Indy, and when your co-workjer who is travelling with you is a race fan, there is only one place to stop. The Indianapolis Speedway Museum! Recently renovated, I would highly recommend taking the raceway bus tour, you get to ride the track, and hang out at the finish line. A lot of fun.
I especially loved the era-specific garage setups, so much awesome nostalgia.
We made it out to the Ren Faire for the first time in over 10 years this last weekend. Most of what I remember had stayes the same, and that included the scotch eggs, which always deliver. The Joust was one of the more action packed I have ever seen, and Emma, though ceanky towards the end, enjoyed herself.
