Microsoft Ignite 2025 - Day 1

After only one day at Microsoft Ignite, I already have a lot to talk about, and I think a technical breakdown will be coming later. My Sr. Network guy Cody and I have already covered a lot of ground, literally and figuratively.

Microsoft has been dropping some big tech this week, and there is still more to come. I have a pretty full schedule of sessions and labs, and still have quote a few vendors to connect with while I’m here.

In the meantime, we’ve spent the last two evenings walking San Francisco and seeing what it has to offer. This evening, we targeted Chinatown, and ate at a really great spot called Hon’s Wun-Tun House. We were having trouble finding a place that was open, but then saw a crowd at this place, and now we know why. Amazing handmade dumplings, and chinese food that actually had spice and flavor. A great time all around.

While we were walking I took my camera and shot around San Fran at night. Really had a great time, and the Fuji X-E5 and 16-55 f/2.8 delivered. Here’s the shots!

Trick or Treat

Had a nice walk around the neighborhood on Trick or Treat night, and managed to snap some photos along the way. As it got dark, I found it a great chance to workout the Fuji X-E5 and my 23 mm f/1.4 lens. First time I’ve really had the opportunity to run this thing wide open. I think it did a really nice job.

October Photo Roundup

Pictures I’ve taken this month that I rather like.
